Celebrating World Youth Skills Day at Highview Group… πŸŒπŸŽ‰

This World Youth Skills Day, we’re proud to support the next generation of talent by giving young people the opportunity to experience the construction industry first-hand. 🚧

This week, we’ve welcomed Amelia to Highview Group for her work experience placement, where she has spent time with a range of teams to gain valuable insight into the many roles that contribute to delivering successful construction projects.

So far, Amelia has supported Loraine with Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) administration, gaining an understanding of resident engagement, before visiting a project in Harlow to see project delivery in action. She has also worked alongside our Marketing, Office Support, Estimating, Procurement and Document Control teams, discovering how each department plays a vital role in bringing projects to life.

As part of her placement, Amelia joined our CEO, Terry, on a visit to one of our live projects in Gillingham, providing further insight into project management and the wider construction process.

She also visited a live roofing project in Lewisham for The Riverside Group, where she experienced first-hand the importance of site operations, health and safety, and the collaborative effort involved in delivering high-quality work on site.

It’s been fantastic to introduce Amelia to the diverse career opportunities available within the construction industry and demonstrate how every team contributes to the success of our projects. 🀝

We’re committed to continuing to support young people, develop future skills, and inspire the next generation of construction professionals. πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈπŸ—οΈ
