Highview is pleased to announce the successful completion of essential roof remediation works following reports of water ingress to the top floor of a commercial building in Walthamstow, London.
The works included the removal of redundant roof elements such as the existing flume and roof-level handrails, followed by the preparation of roof upstands and capping. The roof was then fully primed before installation of a new underlayer and cap sheet across the entire surface, including all associated flashings.
A new permanent guardrail system was installed to provide compliant edge protection, alongside a new felt roof overlay and a tested lightning protection system, significantly improving the safety, integrity, and performance of the building.
The result is a fully renewed roof system with improved waterproofing, safety, and long-term durability. 👏
