Highview Group was appointed to deliver a full roof upgrade at the Woolwich Leisure Centre, focusing on sustainability, insulation performance, and environmental integration.

The project involved installing a high-specification Bauder warm roof system alongside a fully integrated extensive green roof, transforming the building’s rooftop into a functional and eco-friendly asset.

Scope of Work

• Bauder Warm Roof Build-Up.
• Installation of a vapor control layer.
• High-performance Bauder PIR insulation system.
• Bauder bituminous waterproofing membrane system.
• Detailing around upstands, penetrations, and drainage outlets.

Extensive Green Roof Installation

• Protective and drainage layers installed over the waterproofing.
• Lightweight growing substrate added to specification.
• Seeding with a biodiverse plant mix suited for low-maintenance urban roofs
  Provision for access pathways and maintenance zones.
