Highview were appointed by Engie to undertake the roofing works at the Winchester Park Estate in South East London.
Works included the removal of the existing inverted roof coverings and downpipes, then overlaying of the existing asphalt roof with a bauder total roof system.
During the early stages of the scheme the client discovered asbestos content in the existing DPC, which caused significant concern for the end client due to the risk of a potential overspend on budget.
By working closely with our client we came up with a design solution to encapsulate the DPC meaning the project could stay within budget.
