Highview Group was appointed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to deliver a complex programme of external refurbishment and compliance works across multiple occupied residential blocks. The project included challenges such as live-tenanted settings, Building Safety Act compliance, asbestos management, restricted access, and extensive façade/roof interventions.
Scope of Works
Cladding & Compliance Upgrades
Removal and replacement of façade panels with A1/A2-s rated systems, in line with PAS 9980 and Building Safety Act requirements
Window Adaptations
Temporary removal/repositioning for cladding and roof works, localised repairs, and airtightness improvements with resident-by-resident planning
Structural Repairs
Concrete patching, brickwork repointing, balcony edge repairs, and remediation of water ingress damage
Flat Roof Replacement
Full removal and installation of warm-roof systems with PIR insulation and improved drainage
Electrical Upgrades
LED lighting, emergency lighting integration, and renewal of fire alarms/AOVs
Redecorations & Communal Improvements
External and communal redecoration, maintaining fire escape compliance
Entrance Door Replacement
Renewal of non-compliant doors under controlled access
