MHS Homes Framework

Highview are leading a substantial roofing renovation project across various properties in the Medway region, to date delivering the replacement of flat and pitched roofs on 10 apartment blocks and 23 street-level houses. This initiative goes beyond roof replacements, it focuses on enhancing residents’ living conditions, ensuring safety and environmental sustainability.

• Safe erection, maintenance and dismantling of scaffold per TSG 20 compliance.
• For pitched roofs: Remedial works to roof structure where required, replacement of outdated and damaged tiles, and new, high-quality tiles are installed that meet current safety and durability standards and complying with MHS’s specification.
• For flat roofs: Removal of existing waterproofing materials to vapour barrier and installing new bituminous waterproofing systems (Bauder Total Roofing Systems).
• Comprehensive replacement of roofline elements, such as fascias, soffits, and gutters, to match the aesthetic and functional needs of the properties.
• Replacing old roof lights with new, energy-efficient polycarbonate dome roof lights, enhancing natural lighting while maintaining energy efficiency.
• Installing photovoltaic panels on selected properties, supporting renewable energy use, reflecting MHS Homes’ commitment to sustainable practices.

We have implemented drone led condition surveys throughout this contract to establish extent of works at mobilisation stage.

This has allowed detailed interrogation of current stock condition, and facilitated extensive reporting opportunities, allowing MHS Homes to make well-informed and timely decisions regarding extent of works (for example early identification of outdated/damaged tiles for replacement).

This has resulted in a streamlined approach to establishing our works sheets, including leveraging savings through early and bulk ordering of materials, which are passed to MHS Homes.
