Works were subject to validation for individual needs, but the overall scope of works included full scaffold, fascias, soffits, guttering, roof replacement and External repairs and decorations, to 147 L&Q Housing properties across South East London.

Due to the scattered nature of the various properties, with many of them also not having front gardens, waste removal was challenging and required very accurately planned programming to keep sites clear.

Planning permission challenges to the roof replacement works at Witney & Shifford caused a delay in start date of 9 months from our initial design proposal. To mitigate any issues caused by this delay, we accelerated the programme as soon as works were able to commence.

Thermal efficiency improvements were made to the properties, which all benefited from brand new roofs, giving the residents savings in heating costs and the added benefit of a reduction in the environmental impact.
