This 5-storey new build residential project in North West London, required the delivery of 4 separate disciplines across 6 separate roof level areas.
Using our in-house expertise in slate mansard, liquid balcony, felt tabletop and green roofing, we were able to successfully complete this complex contract in a 15- week programme.
Deliveries to the site were restricted due to being located on a main road at a busy junction. We were able to work around this challenge by timing all deliveries in slick coordination with the other site trades, ensuring that they were only one at a time and each provided with adequate space for unloading.
Close proximity to neighbouring commercial retail businesses, including a petrol station and a retail unit below opposing the project, meant that scaffold access was restricted. The petrol station prohibited the erection of scaffold on their forecourt, leading to works having just one access point because of guard rail and protection method restrictions.
Despite delivery difficulties, and multiple trades sharing only one site access point, this multi-level multi-discipline roofing project was an enormous success, leaving the client very pleased with the end result.
