LB of Hounslow directly appointed Highview as Principle contractor to deliver a full roof refurbishment programme commencing during the 2022 summer recess.
We refurbished 5 roof areas using a Bauder Total Tapered System, including 2034m2 of strip up of the existing roof coverings and a further 104m2 of full removal and renewal of the existing plywood Decking.
The head teacher added: “Our anxieties about having scaffolding up around our school and contractors on site for a whole term were very soon gone once we had met with the team from Highview. Tomasz and his team were professional at all times and ensured our site was safe for our little people (all 420 of them), our parents and our staff. It can’t be easy working around the demands and ever-changing environment of a primary school – but Tomasz did just that. The team were flexible, patient and SO hardworking. Every part of the project was carried out ahead of time but with no cutting corners. Highview ensured we were kept updated at all points during the project and always asked how WE were finding things. Before the works started Highview carried out a thorough risk assessment of the site with us in the Summer Holidays to ensure our children could come back to school safely despite the extensive works. We were always excited about the prospect of our new roof, but we were understandably nervous about the process – we need not have been. Thank you Tomasz and all at Highview”.
