Replacement of plain clay tiling to 160sqm of pitched roof
This project came as part of Morgan Sindall’s contract to convert this North West London residential house into contained apartments for a PRS offering.
Highview were appointed to replace 160sqm of pitched roof using a plain clay tile finish.
The total replacement of this roof also included the replacement of facias, soffits and guttering, replacing rotten timber work for modern and durable PVC fixtures.
Being responsible for all the associated scaffolding on this project, meant that we had to manage the unexpected process of cantilevering the scaffold in order to respect the wishes of neighbouring property owners. We were able to accommodate this whilst maintaining positive communication lines between all parties.
Whilst the original project specification changed significantly, we remained flexible and adapted our programme as we went to minimise delays whilst satisfying the client’s changing requirements.
The result was a successful roof replacement, supporting the client in their conversion project as well as providing the building with massive future thermal efficiency improvements and a subsequently reduced environmental impact.
