Highview Group is pleased to have successfully completed a comprehensive roof replacement project in the London Borough of Croydon.
Following a waterproofing survey that identified significant age-related deterioration and widespread moisture ingress, Highview was appointed to deliver a complete roof refurbishment, providing a durable and future-proof solution for the building.
The works included:
🔹 Full strip-back to the structural deck
🔹 Installation of a new Alumasc waterproofing system with upgraded insulation
🔹 Removal of redundant air cooling units and roof slabs
🔹 Licensed asbestos removal of asbestos-lined rooflights
🔹 Installation of new metal roof decking
🔹 New ridge tiles, flashings and access doors
🔹 Lightning protection and permanent safety handrails
The project presented a number of challenges, including temporary pauses to protect nesting birds, and difficult working conditions during peak summer temperatures on the exposed roof areas.
Through careful planning, coordination and a strong focus on safety, our team successfully delivered a fully waterproofed roofing solution, improving access, reducing future maintenance requirements and providing long-term protection for the building owner. Well done to the team involved. 👏
