We’re pleased to share that Highview Group has officially commenced works for Harlow council at both the Woodwards and Shawbridge Estates.
Shawbridge works consist of scaffold installation is now underway for a comprehensive programme of external envelope improvements.
The scope includes full strip-up and replacement of the main flat roof and stairwell/tank room roofs, thermal upgrades and recladding to stairwell and tank room enclosures, alongside the safe removal of asbestos flues.
Whilst at Woodwards, we are delivering a wide-ranging external refurbishment scheme across 15 properties. This includes scaffold erection, replacement of front external buildups incorporating new front entrance doors, windows and store doors, renewal of soffits, and the removal and upgrade of communal stair structures with new steel balustrades.
Additional improvements include the replacement of communal balustrades and flooring, helping to modernise shared spaces and improve resident safety and comfort.
Resident engagement remains central to our approach. It was a pleasure meeting Wendy at the Woodwards block, who shared positive feedback about how approachable, respectful and informative our site team have been throughout the scaffold erection phase.
Creating a reassuring and well-communicated experience for residents is just as important to us as the physical work on site.
