We’re pleased to share an update from our ongoing project at Haggerston, working with Morgan Sindall for L&Q.
Phase 1 has now been completed, with works carried out across several roofing areas, including sections incorporating the Bauder Total Green Roof System.
Our works have included:
🔹 Preparation of the existing roof
🔹 Installation of the Bauder waterproofing system
🔹 New insulation and detailed upstand works
🔹 Lightning protection
🔹 Installation of new copings
🔹 ELD testing
🔹 Removal and replacement of existing roof coverings and waterproofing
We have now progressed into Phase 4, with works continuing across the main site, Laburnum Street and Whiston Road. Works include the removal of existing roof coverings and insulation, waterproofing, detailed upstand works, ELD testing and new metal capping.
The project incorporates the Bauder Total Green Roof System, alongside a Bauderflex three-layer built-up roofing system to existing single-ply roof areas, which do not include the green roof finish.
Bauder has identified Haggerston as one of the largest projects they have supplied, highlighting the scale and technical complexity of the works. We look forward to sharing further progress as Phase 4 develops. 🚧
