Community Planting Day at Hoover and Brunner House with Phoenix Housing

On 30 September, Highview Group joined forces with Phoenix Housing for a community planting day at Hoover and Brunner House.

The team worked together to clear and prepare the existing garden area between the residential blocks, transforming an overgrown space into a cleaner, greener and more welcoming environment. With new plants and shrubs now in place, the area will continue to develop into an attractive shared space for residents and the wider community to enjoy.

A huge thank you to Reece Spurr, Loraine Stevens and Sue Mitchell from Highview, alongside Alan Byrne, David Harrison and David Sparks from Phoenix Housing, for their hard work and support in making the day a success.

It’s always rewarding to see the positive impact that collaborative community projects can have, and we’re proud to have played our part in improving the local environment.

We were also delighted to receive the following feedback from Alan Byrne, Clerk of Works at Phoenix Housing:

“I would just like to pass on my thanks to the team for doing such a fabulous job on the planting at Hoover and Brunner yesterday. It was great to catch up with you all again and good to meet Glenn, your Social Value Manager.”
